Som studerende oplever vi i stadig stigende grad at vi mister indflydelse på vores uddannelse. Der er kommet et større fokus på gennemførselsprocenter, der er akut mangel på praktikpladser, uddannelserne strømlines efter markedsmodeller og erhvervslivet har flertal i universitetsbestyrelserne.
Laurids læser til daglig på RUC og har en baggrund i Danske Gymnasieelevers Sammenslutning, Studenterrådet på RUC og senest Reclaim Your Education. Han vil give os en status på studenteraktivismen i dag, fortælle om mulighederne på at være aktiv i studenterbevægelsen og diskutere fordele og ulemper ved den nuværende studenterbevægelse. Where next for the student movement?
As students, we experience an increasing loss of influence over our
education. There is greater focus on completion rates, there is an acute
shortage of practical training at the technical schools, the courses are
being streamlined by market models, and industry has a majority on the
university boards.
